Islamabad: Nokia's cutting-edge optical network is bringing high-speed internet access to underserved communities across Southeast Mexico, laying the groundwork for economic growth and improved digital services. The project, in partnership with MX Fiber, will impact customers in Chiapas, Tabasco, and Quintana Roo, with expansion planned for Campeche and Veracruz.

This 1,800 km network utilizes Nokia's Flex-Grid DWDM technology and 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) to provide scalable 10G, 100G, and 200G connectivity. This enhanced capacity enables access to modern data centers, industrial parks, and key transportation hubs, crucial for boosting commerce, mobility, and digital inclusion in areas previously lacking adequate infrastructure.

The advanced technology allows for smooth upgrades to 400G and 800G without service interruptions. Dynamic management tools and real-time performance monitoring ensure robust and responsive connectivity, prepared for future demands. The enhanced network will also support major development initiatives like the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and Maya Train, designed to revitalize the region's economy.
