Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has integrated three electric buses into its transportation fleet, underscoring its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting environmental sustainability.

According to a statement by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, the new electric buses were officially inaugurated by the company's Managing Director and CEO, Ahmed Hayat Lak. In celebration of this milestone, Lak, accompanied by senior management and staff, participated in a ride on one of the buses.

The initiative is part of OGDCL's broader vision to embrace sustainable practices within the energy sector, setting a precedent for environmentally responsible operations. By adopting electric transportation, the company aims to contribute to a cleaner environment and a greener future.
