ISLAMABAD: OGDCL has teamed up with the Human Development Foundation (HDF) to launch a Women and Children Healthcare Centre in Khairpur, Sindh, marking the first of its kind to comply with EDGE standards in the region.

According to a statement by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed at OGDCL's Head Office in Islamabad. The agreement was formalized by MD/CEO OGDCL, Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak, and CEO HDF, Ms. Samman Islam.

The initiative is part of OGDCL's Corporate Social Responsibility program. It highlights the company's commitment to bringing about positive social change within underserved communities.

The new healthcare facility will be located in Union Council Khewari, Tehsil Nara, District Khairpur, and will focus on improving healthcare access for women and children in the area.
