Kandhkot: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced a partnership with the Government of Sindh and SZABIST-ZABTech to create a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Skill Development Center in Kashmore.

This initiative, announced in a recent press release, will transform the Youth Center in Kashmore into a modern SZABIST TVET Institute. OGDCL will fund the development of advanced TVET laboratories at the site, providing a platform for free education and training.

The program, designed to assist marginalized youth, aims to offer competency-based training and certifications accredited by recognized bodies. Over the next five years, the center plans to train 2,400 students, equipping them with skills essential for sustainable livelihoods and self-reliance.

The establishment of this facility underscores a commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure and accessibility in the region, addressing a critical need for skill development among the youth.
