Karachi: The Pakistan Credit Rating Agency Limited (PACRA) has upheld the broker fiduciary rating of Trust Securities and Brokerage Limited (TSBL), highlighting its robust governance framework, strong management, and significant growth in brokerage revenue. The rating reflects the company’s diverse ownership structure, experienced leadership, and substantial financial improvements during the fiscal year.
According to The Pakistan Credit Rating Agency Limited, the rating draws on TSBL’s continued adherence to a strong governance framework with a seven-member board including two independent directors. The company has shown notable financial performance, with a reported profit after tax (PAT) of approximately PKR 84 million for the first nine months of fiscal year 2024, up from the previous year, and a significant increase in brokerage revenue from PKR 121 million to approximately PKR 164 million.
TSBL’s strategy for future growth includes leveraging its market position in commodities brokerage and improving its technological platform. Plans for geographic expansion and revenue diversification are also underway to ensure the sustainability and enhancement of its market share. PACRA notes the importance of maintaining strict internal controls, retaining key management personnel, and continuing to drive profitability as critical factors for the company’s ongoing success and stability.
