Lahore: In a collaborative effort to celebrate and solidify the friendship between Pakistan and China, the Pakistan China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI), alongside the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Lahore and various departments of the Government of Punjab, is set to host the Pak-China Love Festival. This three-day event, scheduled from April 25 to April 27, 2025, at Lahore Global Village, aims to highlight cultural and trade exchanges between the two nations.
The festival will present an array of food stalls offering authentic Pakistani and Chinese cuisine, creating an opportunity for visitors to explore the culinary traditions of both countries. Rao Pervaiz Akhtar from the Punjab Food Authority noted that attendees will have the chance to savor traditional flavors and signature dishes, showcasing the culinary artistry of both nations.
In addition to the gastronomic delights, the festival will feature a Concert and Qawwali Night, bringing together artists from both countries. This musical event aims to promote cross-cultural appreciation and celebrate the artistic legacies of Pakistan and China, according to Zafar Iqbal, Vice President of PCJCCI.
Brig. Mansoor Saeed Sheikh (Retd), Senior Vice President of PCJCCI, emphasized the festival’s role in enhancing bilateral relations and fostering people-to-people connections. He also highlighted its potential to boost trade relations, creating new opportunities for businesses and investors from both nations.
The event is open to everyone, promising a rich experience for families, food enthusiasts, and cultural connoisseurs. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General of PCJCCI, extended an invitation to join in celebrating the camaraderie between Pakistan and China through this vibrant display of culture and tradition.
