Pakistan Stock Exchange Continues Bull Run, KSE-100 Up by 728 Points

Islamabad: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its upward trajectory yesterday, with the KSE-100 index closing at 79,553, marking a significant gain of 728 points. The total traded volume reached 413 million shares, highlighting a robust trading session.

According to JS Global, the positive momentum in the market was reflected in the performance of several key stocks. Notable volume leaders included WorldCall Telecom (WTL) with a 1.6% increase, K-Electric (KEL) up by 3.5%, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) rising by 9.0%, Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) with a 7.3% gain, and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL) which went up by 4.5%. This upward movement suggests a strong investor confidence prevailing in the market. JS Global recommends a buy-on-dips strategy, particularly focusing on sectors such as Cement, Exploration and Production, and Technology due to their promising outlook.
