Pakistan Stock Exchange Indices Decline as KSE100 and KSE30 Drop

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange experienced a downturn as both the KSE100 and KSE30 indices recorded declines. The KSE100 index fell by 1,085.13 points, closing at 168,412.23, a decrease of 0.64 percent, while the KSE30 index dropped by 418.65 points to settle at 50,990.49, down by 0.81 percent.

According to JS Global, the day's trading highlighted significant activity among specific stocks. HCAR emerged as one of the top gainers, rising by 10.00 percent to reach a price of 199.86. Other notable gainers included PAKT, which increased by 8.52 percent, and CNERGY, advancing by 8.45 percent. On the contrary, YOUW led the list of losers with an 11.20 percent decline, followed by BNWM and GADT, which fell by 8.46 percent and 6.42 percent, respectively.

The market capitalization of the Pakistan Stock Exchange decreased by 0.54 percent, bringing it to Rs 18,646.89 billion. Despite the daily decrease, the year-to-date figures for the fiscal year 2026 show a positive trend with increases of 34.06 percent for the KSE100 and 33.64 percent for the KSE30. The day's trading saw a total volume of 1,190.34 million shares, amounting to a total value of Rs 34.54 billion.
