Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange experienced a downturn in trading activity, with indices closing lower on August 11, 2026. The KSE30 index fell by 434.78 points to close at 53,571.08, while the KSE100 index dropped by 1,463.60 points, finishing at 179,846.68. Both indices recorded a percentage decline of 0.81%.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market saw a decrease in turnover and traded value compared to the previous session. The overall market turnover decreased from 917,268,550 to 860,261,868, and the traded value fell from 44,805,701,089 to 38,862,124,676. The market capitalization also saw a reduction, dropping from 20,257,810,160,786 to 20,141,872,786,313. The DFC turnover and traded value also declined, with figures showing a decrease from 242,363,500 to 193,741,000 and from 12,361,058,365 to 9,702,809,630, respectively.
