Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) announced the election of Mr. Ruhail Mohammad as the new Chairman of the Board, following the recent passing of Dr. Shamshad Akhtar. The decision was made in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements during a Board meeting held at 11:30 a.m.

The Board expressed profound appreciation for Dr. Akhtar's leadership, highlighting her ability to navigate the Exchange through challenging times with integrity and professionalism. In a gesture of respect, the PSX Board resolved to name the Exchange's auditorium the "Dr. Shamshad Akhtar Auditorium" to honor her legacy.
