Pakistan Stock Market Shows Gains with KSE100 Index Climbing Over 800 Points

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange experienced a positive trading session as both the KSE30 and KSE100 indices showed significant gains. The KSE100 index rose by 809.10 points, closing at 151,207.82, while the KSE30 index increased by 245.88 points to 45,699.24. This marks a 0.54% increase for both indices compared to the previous trading day.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market's turnover saw a slight decrease, with 457,211,680 shares traded compared to 471,943,163 shares in the previous session. The traded value, however, increased to 30,876,525,494 from 24,644,381,246. The market capitalization also rose, reaching 16,822,760,083,887, up from 16,725,121,981,933. The DFC index saw a slight decrease in turnover and traded value, while the ODL index experienced an increase in both categories. The CSF index did not record any activity during the session.
