Karachi: Pakistani manufacturers are gearing up for their participation in the prestigious Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, a four-day exhibition that serves as a nexus for the global automotive industry. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will feature prominently with the Pakistan Pavilion, offering subsidized stalls to boost the country's export of automotive parts and technologies.
Scheduled from September 8 to 12, 2026, Automechanika Frankfurt will gather experts and industry leaders to delve into cutting-edge innovations. This year's event will introduce 'HighTech4Mobility', a new forum centered on software-defined vehicles. Key discussions will revolve around sustainability, transformation, and workforce development, reflecting the evolving landscape of automotive technology.
TDAP is providing subsidies to Pakistani exhibitors, reducing the cost of each stall to Rs. 1,067,000. This initiative aims to enhance the visibility of Pakistani automotive products on the international stage. For direct participants, the cost is approximately Rs. 2,100,000. Interested exhibitors must apply by May 15, 2025, to avail of the subsidized rates.
The significance of Automechanika Frankfurt is underscored by its 2024 statistics, with 4,132 exhibitors from 76 countries and 107,676 visitors from 172 nations. In 2024, 11 Pakistani companies participated, including industry players like Ammarian Industry and A-One Techniques, highlighting Pakistan's interest in global automotive trade.
The upcoming exhibition is expected to further cement Pakistan's presence in the global automotive market, with numerous importers and members of the Pakistan Auto Spare Parts Importers and Dealers Association (PASPIDA) expressing keen interest in the event.
