Pakistani Currency Exchange Rates Observe Mild Fluctuations

Karachi, The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan recently disclosed the currency exchange rates for both 24 and 25 October 2023. Among the notable changes observed, the United States Dollar (USD) and the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) both saw slight increases in their selling rates.

According to a news release by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on 24 October, the buying rate of USD was 278.50 while its selling rate was 281.50. The next day, its buying rate shifted up slightly to 279.00, and its selling rate went up to 282.00. Similarly, the AED experienced a bump in its selling rate from 78.75 to 79.90, while its buying rate saw a minor increase from 78.00 to 78.20 over the same period.

Other currencies like the Euro, the British Pound, and the Saudi Riyal remained relatively stable over the two-day span. The Japanese Yen maintained its buying rate at 1.82 and its selling rate at 1.87. The interbank rates also witnessed a minimal shift, from a buying rate of 279.40 to 279.90 and a selling rate from 279.60 to 280.10.
