Pakistani Currency Market Sees Stable Exchange Rates Amid Economic Uncertainty

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) released the latest open market closing exchange rates, indicating stability in the currency market, despite ongoing economic challenges. The data, sourced from the State Bank of Pakistan, reflects the buying and selling rates for major currencies as of December 3, 2025.

The U.S. dollar maintained a buying rate of 281.02 PKR and a selling rate of 281.50 PKR. The euro was listed with a buying rate of 326.50 PKR and a selling rate of 329.26 PKR, while the British pound stood at 371.45 PKR for buying and 374.74 PKR for selling.

The Japanese yen was noted at a buying rate of 1.78 PKR and a selling rate of 1.84 PKR. Among the Gulf currencies, the United Arab Emirates dirham was listed at 76.56 PKR for buying and 77.35 PKR for selling. The Saudi riyal was recorded at a buying rate of 74.82 PKR and a selling rate of 75.48 PKR.
