Pakistani Pharmaceutical Industry Sees Rising Demand in Kenya

Karachi: During a dinner event hosted by prominent Lions Club members, Dr. Manoj Shah, Third Vice President of Lions Club International, highlighted the increasing demand for Pakistani pharmaceuticals in Kenya, noting the significant investment opportunities for Pakistani companies in the African nation.

According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Shah, speaking at the gathering organized by former International Director, PMJF Lion Malik Khuda Bakhsh, and Lioness Ayesha Malik, asserted that four Pakistani pharmaceutical plants are already being established in Kenya. He expressed eagerness to facilitate trade relations and assured comprehensive support for Pakistani investors looking to expand into Kenya or other African markets.

The event also featured key figures such as former Federal Minister Nilofar Bakhtiar and UBG President Zubair Tufail, who discussed various aspects of international trade and cooperation. Dr. Shah praised the humanitarian efforts of Lions Club International, particularly their support for flood victims in Pakistan, which includes housing and other aid initiatives.

Lioness Ayesha Malik and Malik Khuda Bakhsh also emphasized the vital social services provided by the Lions Club in Pakistan, particularly their contributions to improving the lives of the poor and middle-class communities across the country. The event concluded with Dr. Shah presenting an award to Khalid Twaab, recognizing his contributions on behalf of SM Tanveer, Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group of FPCCI.
