Pakistani Rupee Sees Slight Fluctuation Against Major Currencies

Karachi: The Pakistani Rupee experienced minor fluctuations against major global currencies on Thursday and Friday, as per the latest data from the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan. The USD, Euro, and GBP showed slight variations in their buying and selling rates over the two days, with minor adjustments also noted in other currencies such as the Japanese Yen (JPY), United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), and Saudi Riyal (SR).

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the USD was bought for 279.10 on Thursday and slightly higher at 279.35 on Friday, while selling rates closed at 280.94 and 280.86 respectively. Similarly, the Euro saw a buying rate of 309.23 on Thursday, dropping slightly to 308.27 on Friday, with selling rates adjusting from 312.34 to 311.31. The GBP followed this trend, with buying rates moving from 366.83 on Thursday to 365.18 on Friday, and selling rates adjusting from 370.41 to 368.64.

The Japanese Yen, AED, and SR maintained stable selling rates over the two days, although the Yen’s buying rate increased marginally from 1.92 to 1.93. Notably, no interbank rates were reported on Friday.
