Pakistan’s Currency Exchange Rates Experience Minor Fluctuations

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported slight changes in the buying and selling rates for major currencies including the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound as of the end of October and beginning of November 2024.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on October 31, the buying rate for the US Dollar was recorded at 276.87 with a selling rate of 278.78, while the Euro was bought at 299.18 and sold at 301.94. The British Pound saw a buying rate of 358.00 and a selling rate of 361.23. In comparison, the rates on November 1 showed a minimal decrease in the buying and selling rates across these major currencies, with the US Dollar buying rate at 276.80 and the selling rate at 278.63. The Euro edged up slightly to a buying rate of 299.74 and a selling rate of 302.52, while the Pound decreased to a buying rate of 355.64 and a selling rate of 358.91.

Other currencies such as the Japanese Yen and Arab Emirates Dirham remained stable with minor adjustments in their rates. The interbank rates for the US Dollar also showed minor variations, closing at 277.85 and 278.05 on October 31, and slightly reducing to 277.70 and 277.90 on November 1.
