Karachi: Pakistan's high frequency indicators for June 2026 demonstrate a positive trajectory, with growth observed across several sectors. Cement sales increased by 18.4% year-on-year, indicating a rebound in construction activity after a slowdown in the previous month due to holidays. Additionally, vehicle sales witnessed a rise, with trucks, motorcycles, and passenger cars growing by 35.5%, 31.3%, and 4.4% year-on-year, respectively. Auto financing also experienced a year-on-year increase of 38.0%, while IT exports reached a second all-time high monthly figure of $416.0 million, up by 22.7% year-on-year.
According to JS Global, the KSE-100 index grew by 3.6% month-on-month, supported by a decrease in global uncertainty. The one-year return for the market in June 2026 stood at 43.5%.
