Karachi: The three-day Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is set to commence on February 26, 2025, at the Saigon Expo and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has announced its participation in this significant industry event, which will span from February 26 to February 28, 2025.
According to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the event is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Limited and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE). It offers a comprehensive platform for the entire textile value chain. TDAP is supporting the Pakistani textile industry by providing subsidized stalls to boost exports. The products represented will include a wide range of categories such as suiting, casual wear, women’s wear, sportswear/functional fabrics, shirting, denim, children’s and infant wear, swimwear, lingerie, knitwear, and more. Additionally, there will be representation from the textile processing, machinery, and printing sectors.
The VIATT Fair in 2024 witnessed the participation of over 400 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions, attracting more than 17,000 trade visitors from 55 countries and regions. Notable Pakistani companies such as Abdullah Textiles, K and EMS Private Limited, MK Sons, Sapphire Textile Mills Limited, Siddique Sons Limited, Softwood Textiles, and US Dyeing and Finishing Mills were part of the 2024 edition. The upcoming fair is seen as a strategic opportunity for Pakistan to strengthen its relationships with key buyers in Vietnam. Interested participants must submit their applications by November 18, 2024.
