Lahore, December 13, 2021 (PPI-OT): Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) has entered into collaboration with Iqra University, to initiate Incubation center for the promotion of Chinese language, work ethics, and technology transfer to enhance the skills of young students. Mr. Wang Zihai, President PCJCCI during his online address in a meeting with Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor Iqra University highly appreciated the idea of collaboration and assured to arrange such collaboration also with Chinese universities. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ehsan Choudhry, Senior Vice President PCJCCI, Mr. Sarfaraz Butt, Vice President PCJCCI and Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General PCJCCI.
Mr. Wang Zihai, President PCJCCI said that, the main aim of the proposed incubation center would be to provide tailor-made innovative solutions to various sectors of Pakistan. “China is interested to incorporate Chinese curriculum into Pakistan that will include Chinese language, Chinese work ethics, innovative planning and development on priority. He further added that it would be considered a big achievement, if Pakistan succeeded to establish such university because currently the education sector of Pakistan lacked in technology and technical expertise despite having huge population of the highly motivated, talented and creative youth.
Mr. Ehsan Choudhry, shared his views by saying that various innovative projects, strategies and products were being developed by students in the local universities that go unnoticed due to lack of representation and interest at the government level. There is a dire need to provide them maximum support in exploring innovative ideas especially contemporary Chinese work ethics through which they can achieve success in their lives. He further added that we will also conduct a “Knowledge Hunt” conference where students will be able to present their contemporary ideas related to business and trade.
Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor, Iqra University shared his views by saying that, we should focus on collaborative research and development and it should be linked with other universities and colleges for the development and achievement of innovative goals by providing, training, technical and financial assistance to the students and interested people to execute their ideas.
Mr. Sarfaraz Butt, Vice President PCJCCI and Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General PCJCCI said that, we do not have institutions or a financial support structure to help entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to fruition. We need radical transformation which could be possible by globalizing the knowledge and technology transfer.
