Lahore: The Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) is set to host a cultural event on September 26, 2024, to celebrate China’s National Day, showcasing the deepening bilateral ties and mutual goodwill between Pakistan and China. The event, characterized by diverse cultural performances, underscores the significance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a cornerstone of economic and cultural connectivity.
According to Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Moazzam Ghurki, President of PCJCCI, emphasized the event’s role in promoting multiculturalism and diversity, reflecting the strong bilateral relationship built on mutual trust and respect. He praised China’s economic progress over the past forty years, attributing it to visionary leadership and effective reforms.
Fang Yulong highlighted the festive atmosphere that marks China’s National Day in Pakistan, noting the positive impact of CPEC projects on Pakistan’s trade, economic growth, employment, and income levels. These projects, he mentioned, are instrumental in driving economic development and reducing poverty in Pakistan.
Vice President Hamza Khalid noted that the event will feature keynote speakers from various sectors and is organized in collaboration with the Information and Culture Department of the Government of Punjab. He stressed the importance of such events in fostering social prosperity and strengthening the cultural and economic bonds between the two nations.
