Karachi: Bolan Mining Enterprise (BME), a collaborative venture between Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and the Government of Balochistan, demonstrated its significance in the mining industry by hosting a stall at the 12th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024) held at the Karachi Expo Centre. The event featured a visit by prominent figures from PPL, including Managing Director and CEO Imran Abbasy and Chief Operating Officer Sikandar Ali Memon.
According to Pakistan Petroleum Limited, the PPL leadership was received by Zeeshan Asghar, Head of BME, and his team, who provided a detailed briefing on BME's achievements. These included innovative projects and contributions that leverage Balochistan's mineral resources to foster economic growth in Pakistan. The Managing Director of PPL commended BME's initiatives, highlighting their role in converting natural resources into national assets through practices that emphasize innovation and sustainability.
The BME stall focused on its capabilities in Barite production, sustainable resource management, and community welfare projects, garnering interest from both national and international attendees. This participation underscored BME's pivotal status in the mining sector and its ongoing commitment to developing global partnerships.
