Karachi: In a gesture of community support and solidarity, Pakistan State Oil (PSO), a leading energy company in the country, organized a meaningful Iftar gathering with residents of the SOS Village in Karachi. This event marked the beginning of PSO's 'Tohfaa e Ramadan' campaign, aimed at community engagement and giving back.
The gathering saw the participation of both PSO employees and senior management, who joined the children and families of SOS Village to share an evening meal as they broke their fast together. The event was part of PSO's broader initiative to create memorable experiences and strengthen community ties.
Last year's 'Tohfaa e Ramadan' campaign by PSO involved the distribution of Iftar boxes at its retail outlets nationwide. This year, the company has expanded its efforts by directly engaging with the community, reflecting a deeper commitment to social responsibility.
During the event, PSO team members spent time with the children, exploring their interests and taking a tour of the village. The company also distributed gifts, which were warmly received and brought smiles to the children’s faces.
The management of SOS Village expressed their gratitude towards PSO for organizing the event, highlighting how it fostered a sense of connection and created lasting memories for both the children and the company representatives.
