Karachi: Pakistan State Oil (PSO), in collaboration with the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, has launched the “Blue LPG Initiative,” designed to enhance the availability and convenience of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) distribution across Pakistan. This initiative aims to reach underserved areas, ensuring that 100% of the population has access to energy.
According to Pakistan State Oil, the initiative was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by key figures including Mr. Eman Shah, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information of Gilgit-Baltistan, and Syed Muhammad Taha, Managing Director and CEO of PSO. The program is set to revolutionize the LPG market by providing last-mile delivery services, which will improve energy accessibility while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.
The Blue LPG Initiative will feature competitive pricing and a user-friendly platform that includes a mobile app and web interface, allowing for easy ordering and delivery. The service will utilize modern, lightweight composite cylinders that are both safe and convenient for customers. The initiative began its first phase in Central Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, where it aims to provide eco-friendly and sustainable energy solutions.
