PTCL and China Mobile International Forge Strategic Partnership at GITEX 2024 to Boost Global Connectivity

Islamabad: In a significant development at GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, UAE, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Pakistan’s leading telecommunication and ICT services provider, has partnered with China Mobile International Limited (CMI) to enhance national and international connectivity. According to Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, the agreement was signed by Waqar Ahmed, Group Director Enterprise Solutions at PTCL and Ufone 4G, and Alex Lee, Managing Director of China Mobile International Middle East. The signing event was attended by a host of investors, innovators, and business leaders, highlighting the importance of this partnership in the telecom and ICT sectors.

This historic collaboration leverages PTCL’s extensive fiber network, which spans over 65,000 kilometers across Pakistan, along with CMI’s global reach that includes 305 overseas Points of Presence (PoPs). The synergy between the two networks is set to deliver enhanced and scalable connectivity solutions, benefiting businesses and individual consumers alike by providing robust, seamless service quality.
