Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is set to expand its consumer device offerings with the introduction of the Apple iPhone 18 Pro series across its Service Centers. This initiative is being undertaken in collaboration with Mercantile, Apple’s Authorized Distributor in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, the official launch allows customers to purchase the iPhone 18 Pro series at select PTCL Service Centers located in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. The initiative combines the device, warranty, protection, and PTCL connectivity services through the company’s retail network. The offer aligns with PTCL’s vision to enhance digital experiences by making premium technology more accessible and integrating high-speed connectivity with the latest devices.
Customers opting for the iPhone 18 Pro series through PTCL will benefit from a two-year warranty, consisting of one year from Apple and an additional year from Mercantile. Additionally, a 12-month protection plan and complimentary PTCL connectivity benefits are included. Various payment options will be available to customers at the time of purchase.
The launch supports PTCL’s strategy to expand its consumer device and electronics business while maintaining its core connectivity services. PTCL is leveraging its 194 Service Centers and Joint Shops across 96 cities to offer customers access to premium devices, alongside its fixed broadband and Flash Fiber services.
Amad Khan, Chief Marketing Officer of PTCL, stated that the availability of the iPhone 18 Pro series through the partnership with Mercantile aims to enhance the PTCL Service Centre experience, integrating a premium device with trusted after-sales support and PTCL connectivity. Nauman Durrani, CEO of Mercantile Pakistan, expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, highlighting the partnership’s role in providing access to genuine Apple devices with official warranty coverage and after-sales support.
The introduction of the iPhone 18 Pro series builds on PTCL’s experience with the previous iPhone 17 Series launch, which saw record device volumes through its Service Centers. The current offering allows customers to pair their device purchase with PTCL fixed broadband and Flash Fiber services, streamlining their device and home connectivity needs through a single retail interaction.
