Punjab Chief Minister Introduces Property Transfer Service for Expatriates

Lahore, In an effort to safeguard overseas Pakistanis against real estate fraud, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has unveiled a new property transfer service dedicated to expatriates. The initiative aims to provide secure and efficient property transaction processes for Pakistanis living abroad, especially targeting those in the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Gulf countries.

According to Zameen.Com, the announcement came during a recent Punjab Board of Revenue meeting, where Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of this service. The new facility is designed to facilitate various property-related transactions, including mutation, e-filing, and land registration, offering a reliable solution to the challenges faced by expatriates in managing their properties in Punjab.

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure adherence to the prescribed timelines for processing these transactions and emphasized the need for maintaining a detailed record of government-owned land. This initiative reflects the Punjab government's commitment to addressing the concerns of its diaspora and enhancing the transparency and efficiency of property dealings in the province.
