Islamabad: The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has launched the Murree Tourist Bus (MTB) service, introducing two scenic routes designed to enhance the travel experience for visitors to Murree and the surrounding Galiyat region. This new service aims to facilitate accessible and enjoyable travel through some of the area’s most picturesque locations.
According to Zameen.Com, the MTB service includes two distinct routes. The first, known as the Galiyat Route, starts at Kashmir Point and winds through Jhika Gali, Kaladana, and Nathia Gali, culminating in a return to the starting point. Priced at PKR 1,200 per person for a round trip, this route offers a comprehensive day trip with buses departing at 10:00 AM and returning by 3:00 PM.
The second route, called the Patriata Route, also begins at Kashmir Point and covers Jhika Gali, Lower Topa, along the Expressway, through Dena, New Murree, and ends at Patriata. With a similar schedule and a ticket price of PKR 700 per person, this route provides an affordable option for tourists seeking to explore this less traversed path.
