RDA Cracks Down on Illegal Housing Schemes in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) is taking strict legal measures against 12 illegal housing projects in the city, enforcing regulations and ensuring lawful urban development practices.

According to Zameen.Com, the targeted projects include Gulshan-i-Kashmir (Asia Housing Scheme), Rawal Enclave/Rawal Town, Housing Enclave in Mouza Ping Lar Ranyal, Faisal Town Phase II, Aman Developer, Manan City, Multi Garden Phase II, Khayaban Iftikhar, Real Estate and Builder, Nabeel Block Kohsar Extension F Block, Kohsar Extension, and Top View City D-17. The RDA’s MP and TE Directorate has been vigilant in curbing the unauthorised advertisement and promotion of these schemes, leading to the issuance of warnings and the lodging of FIRs against them.

The RDA mandates obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for launching housing schemes in its area, emphasizing that both advertising and developing without approval are illegal. The public has been cautioned against investing in these unauthorized projects, and the owners of such schemes have been warned to secure RDA’s sanction to circumvent legal repercussions.
