Lahore: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) have inked a memorandum of understanding to foster the development of top educational institutions in Ravi City.

According to Zameen.Com, the MoU was signed at RUDA's headquarters by Chief Operating Officer Mansoor Ahmed Janjua, Chairman Syed Azfar Ali Nasir, and PHEC Chairman Professor Dr. Shahid Munir, among other notable attendees. This agreement aims to introduce sub-campuses of international universities in the area, significantly bolstering Punjab's educational landscape.

The collaboration also includes talks with five other global universities to extend educational prospects in Ravi City. RUDA's initiative is not just about infrastructural development but focuses on enriching human and intellectual capital, reflecting its commitment to making Ravi City a 'knowledge city.' Professor Dr. Shahid Munir lauded RUDA’s vision and efforts to elevate educational standards in the region.
