KARACHI: The Pakistan Chemicals & Dyes Merchants' Association (PCDMA) has elected Muhammad Saleem Mukati as its chairman for the 2026-28 term, with Shahid Bashir and Muhammad Aamir Bhatti taking on the roles of senior vice chairman and vice chairman, respectively. The election results were announced at the association's annual general meeting.

According to Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association, the election process involved inviting nominations for 20 seats of the Executive Committee. For the three key office-bearer positions, only one nomination was received for each, leading to the unopposed election of Mukati, Bashir, and Bhatti.

The association also filled two reserved seats for women representatives. Eram Shahid and Aisha Farid Ahmed were elected unopposed, with only two nominations submitted for these positions.
