Islamabad: Saudia Airlines, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has achieved the highest on-time performance rates globally during the busy travel month of June, a critical period that includes the Hajj and summer seasons.

According to Saudia Airlines, an independent aviation tracking site, Cirium, reported that Saudia maintained an on-time arrival rate of 88.22% and a departure rate of 88.73% over 16,133 flights across its extensive network. This accomplishment underscores the airline's commitment to operational excellence and its impact on travelers, particularly between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, facilitating reliable and swift connections that bolster both economic and cultural exchanges.

His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, emphasized the strategic efforts behind these results, including advanced digital systems and continuous operational improvements that address common aviation challenges like adverse weather and technical disruptions.

This consistency in on-time performance not only positions Saudia at the forefront of global air travel reliability but also reflects its ongoing investment in technology and infrastructure, notably through its state-of-the-art Integrated Operation Control Center in the Middle East.
