SBCA Launches Help Desk in North Karachi to Streamline Construction Processes for Industrialists

Karachi: In a significant move to streamline construction processes for industrialists, the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has established a one-window facility at the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI). This new Help Desk aims to address and resolve issues related to industrial building construction in the North Karachi Industrial Area.

According to North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry, Abdul Rasheed Solangi, Director General of SBCA, visited NKATI following an invitation from its President, Faisal Moiz Khan. During his visit, Solangi engaged in detailed discussions with senior members and officials of NKATI, focusing on the challenges faced by industrialists in the area.

The Director General assured the industrial community of SBCA’s commitment to providing necessary support for their construction projects while ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements. He emphasized the importance of expediting the regularization process and pledged to address violations of building regulations proactively.

Faisal Moiz Khan, President of NKATI, highlighted the need for stringent measures against illegal constructions and advocated for a policy of no demolition without prior notification. He expressed the industrial sector's willingness to comply with SBCA's regulations and welcomed the establishment of the Help Desk as a step toward better governance and facilitation in the construction sector.

The Director General concurred with Khan’s suggestions and reassured full cooperation from SBCA to enforce regulations and support the industrial community.
