KARACHI: Senior Vice President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Muhammad Raza, has assumed the role of Acting President of the KCCI, effective immediately.
According to Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the current President, Rehan Hanif, has embarked on a personal trip abroad. In his absence, Muhammad Raza will fulfill the duties and wield the authority of the President.
Upon taking charge, Raza reiterated his commitment to advancing the Chamber's mission to safeguard and promote the interests of the business and industrial sectors. He highlighted the importance of continued engagement with government bodies and relevant stakeholders on pressing economic, fiscal, trade, and industrial issues to ensure sustained advocacy.
Raza also assured KCCI members that both routine and strategic operations of the Chamber would proceed seamlessly during this temporary period, with ongoing projects continuing without any disruption.
