Karachi: Shabbir Tiles & Ceramics Ltd. (STCL) presented its fiscal year 2026 results during an analyst briefing, highlighting a significant increase in losses and a drop in revenue. The company reported a loss of PkR802.1 million, a more than fourfold increase from the previous year's loss, driven by reduced volumes and a contraction in gross margins.

According to AKD Securities Limited, STCL's gross margin decreased to 15.8% from the previous year's 19.8%. The company's revenue fell to PkR11.9 billion, a 14% decline compared to the previous year's PkR13.8 billion. This downturn is attributed to weak construction demand and frequent gas outages, which affected production and plant utilization.
