Sialkot Chamber of Commerce Condemns Attack on Chinese Nationals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Sialkot, The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has publicly denounced the recent terrorist attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that resulted in the death of five Chinese nationals and a Pakistani driver. Mr. Amer Majeed Sheikh, Vice President of SCCI, expressed profound condolences to the bereaved families and emphasized the local business community's solidarity with China during this tragic period.

According to The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Sheikh labeled the incident as a “heinous terrorist attack” that poses a threat not only to the safety and security of foreign investors and workers in Pakistan but also to the vital and longstanding relationship between Pakistan and China. He highlighted the significant role of Chinese companies and personnel in Pakistan’s development and prosperity, stating that such terrorist actions undermine these collaborative efforts.

In response to the attack, Mr. Sheikh demanded a rapid and thorough investigation by the authorities to bring the culprits to justice, stressing the importance of ensuring the safety of all foreign nationals working in Pakistan. He reaffirmed the SCCI’s dedication to supporting the Chinese community and committed to advancing Pakistan-China relations and mutual economic growth.
