Sindh Bank Partners with PTCL to Enhance Digital Connectivity

Karachi: In a strategic move to boost its digital infrastructure, Sindh Bank has inked an agreement with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) for the deployment of a Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) across its 330 branches. This collaboration aims to facilitate faster, more secure, and cost-effective data management by utilizing software-based solutions.

The agreement was signed by Syed Assad Ali Shah, Deputy CEO of Sindh Bank, and Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer of PTCL and Ufone 4G. The signing ceremony, held at Sindh Bank's head office, was attended by several senior officials, including Muhammad Anwaar Sheikh, President and CEO of Sindh Bank.

PTCL is set to provide Sindh Bank with advanced infrastructure and platform solutions, incorporating the latest technology and managed security. Asif Ahmed emphasized PTCL's commitment to supporting Sindh Bank's business needs and contributing to the nation's digitalization efforts through innovative and secure corporate solutions.

Muhammad Anwaar Sheikh expressed confidence in the partnership, highlighting its role in advancing the bank's digitalization strategy. He noted the collaboration's potential to enhance Sindh Bank's operational efficiency, security, and product delivery speed, ultimately benefiting customers with a digitally enabled financial lifestyle.
