SITE Industrialists Commit to Enhancing Security Collaboration with Police

KARACHI: Industrialists in Karachi's SITE area have committed to strengthening collaboration with law enforcement to bolster security measures and reduce crime. They have recognized the modernization of the Shaheen Force as crucial, highlighting the provision of bulletproof jackets, motorcycles for patrols, and updated protective gear as significant improvements towards achieving sustained peace.

According to S.I.T.E Association of Industry, Abdul Hadi, the association's president, commended the efforts of top police officials, including the Additional Inspector General Karachi, DIG South, and SSP Kemari, in enhancing security measures. He emphasized that collaborative efforts between law enforcement and industrialists are vital for crime control in the industrial zones.

Mr. Hadi stated that recent police initiatives are expected to increase the efficiency of the SITE Crime Monitoring Cell. The collaboration, he noted, is likely to substantially deter street crimes and other illegal activities in the SITE industrial area.

He further highlighted the importance of a secure environment for uninterrupted industrial operations, stressing that the safety of industrialists and workers boosts business confidence, encourages investment, and allows industries to function optimally, benefiting the economy.

The SAI chief also pointed out that continuous industrial activity not only generates new employment opportunities but also fortifies the national economy and enhances export potential.
