Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported minimal changes in the buying and selling rates of major currencies over the course of July 11 and July 12, 2024, with slight increases observed in the rates for the Euro, British Pound, and Japanese Yen.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US Dollar buying rate remained nearly stable at 279.00 on July 11 and increased slightly to 279.05 on July 12, while the selling rate held steady at 280.50. The Euro saw a notable rise from 300.07 to 301.40 in buying rates, and from 302.96 to 304.29 in selling rates during the same period. Similarly, the British Pound buying rate escalated from 356.40 to 358.50, with the selling rate moving from 359.73 to 361.87.
The Japanese Yen and the Saudi Riyal showed marginal increments in their rates, whereas the UAE Dirham rates remained unchanged. The interbank rate for the US Dollar continued at 278.40 to 278.60 across both days.
