Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority is going to implement program for registration of SMEs nationwide

Lahore, January 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), under the new SME Policy to be launched by Prime Minister of Pakistan, is going to implement a program for registration of SMEs nationwide. Prime Minister Imran Khan is also scheduled to inaugurate SMEDA’s SME Registration Portal while announcing the SME Policy-2021 on Wednesday.

Under the said portal, registration has already been started on smerp@smeda.org and a large number of SMEs have got registered through this portal, some of which would be handed over the SME cards and registration certificates by the PM at launching ceremony to be held at PM office. The SME Cards to be issued to the registered SMEs would enable them have all support services including easy financing, tax relief, marketing and training opportunities etc.
