Karachi: In a significant move to bolster support for the Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME), the CEO of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Socrat Aman Rana, has appointed Shehryar Tahir as the official focal person. Tahir, the External Relations Director and Deputy General Manager of SMEDA, will facilitate and address issues for small and medium enterprises across various sectors, including commodities, textiles, sports, surgical, cutlery, leather, general merchandise, fisheries, and farming.
According to Union of Small and Medium Enterprises, the appointment of Shehryar Tahir is aimed at strengthening institutional support and ensuring that SMEDA provides the best possible service to its members round the clock. For stakeholders in Karachi and Sindh, Mukesh Kumar, the Provincial Chief Sindh and Deputy General Manager, will be specifically available to guide and assist UNISAME members, ensuring that their diverse needs are effectively met.
