Spotify’s RADAR Korea Amplifies K-Pop Group RIIZE with First Mini Album Release

Seoul, Spotify's RADAR Korea, known for spotlighting and elevating emerging musical talents, is celebrating the success of K-Pop group RIIZE with a special campaign and live event dedicated to their first mini album, 'RIIZING.'

According to Spotify, since joining RADAR Korea in April, RIIZE has experienced significant growth, with a more than 40% increase in monthly streams and nearly 4 million monthly listeners worldwide. The group, which debuted in 2023 with the hit single "Get A Guitar," has quickly climbed the K-Pop ranks, benefiting from Spotify's editorial placements and personalized marketing strategies. This support has helped RIIZE extend its reach globally, connecting with fans across diverse geographic and cultural boundaries.

To honor the release of 'RIIZING,' Spotify will host RADAR Radio Live feat. RIIZE on July 10 in Seoul. The event will feature a live talk show, interactive fan activities, and a screening of a mini-film about RIIZE. It aims to deepen the connection between RIIZE and their fans, known as BRIIZE, and will be livestreamed globally on Spotify’s K-Pop ON! YouTube channel.

Jungjoo Park, Spotify’s Head of Music in South Korea, expressed enthusiasm for the group's rapid ascent and Spotify's ongoing commitment to showcasing Korean artists globally through the RADAR program. This initiative not only promotes artists but also aims to connect them with a broader international audience.
