Stable Currency Exchange Rates Observed in Pakistan

Karachi: Recent data from the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan shows minor fluctuations in the buying and selling rates of major currencies, with the US dollar, euro, and British pound exhibiting slight changes over two consecutive days.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on August 12, the buying rate for the US dollar was recorded at 279.37 with a selling rate of 280.40, while the euro was bought at 304.07 and sold at 305.38. The British pound followed a similar pattern, with buying and selling rates at 355.55 and 357.07, respectively. Minor currencies like the Japanese yen and the UAE dirham also showed steady rates, maintaining consistency across both days.

The interbank rates for the US dollar saw an increase from 278.64 to 278.70 between August 12 and August 13. Other currencies maintained stable rates with negligible variation, indicating a balanced currency market in Pakistan.
