Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported minimal changes in the currency exchange rates over the Independence Day weekend. The rates for major currencies like the USD, EURO, and GBP remained relatively stable, with slight adjustments noted in the EURO rates.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on 13th August, the buying and selling rates for the USD were recorded at 279.46 and 280.40 respectively, which remained nearly unchanged by the 15th August. Similarly, the rates for the EURO moved from 304.45/305.86 to 306.63/307.94 over the same period. The GBP, JPY, AED, and SR showed similar stability. The interbank rates for the USD were consistently at 278.70 and 278.90 across both days.
