State Bank of Pakistan Releases Daily Exchange Rates

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has released the weighted average customer exchange rates for major currencies, providing updated buying and selling rates for May 8. The rates reflect the current exchange values for currencies including the United States Dollar, Euro, and British Pound against the Pakistani Rupee.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates for the US Dollar were set at 278.4300 and 278.8551 respectively. The Euro was recorded at a buying rate of 326.8578 and a selling rate of 327.3514. The British Pound's buying rate stood at 378.0021 while the selling rate was 378.5813. Other currencies such as the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Chinese Yuan were also featured in the updated list of exchange rates.

The daily exchange rate release serves as a reference point for financial institutions, businesses, and individuals engaged in foreign exchange transactions. As the exchange rates fluctuate, the State Bank of Pakistan's data provides critical insight into currency valuation in the domestic market.
