State Bank of Pakistan Releases Latest Exchange Rates

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan announced the weighted average customer exchange rates for various currencies against the Pakistani Rupee as of August 25, 2026, highlighting minor fluctuations in the buying and selling rates compared to previous data.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the exchange rate for the United States Dollar is 277.2398 for buying and 277.6649 for selling. The Euro stands at 323.1206 for buying and 323.6089 for selling. The British Pound is available at a buying rate of 377.7406 and a selling rate of 378.3260. Other currencies, such as the Australian Dollar and the Canadian Dollar, have buying rates of 198.1623 and 200.0202, respectively, with corresponding selling rates of 198.4660 and 200.3242.

The data also includes exchange rates for the Swiss Franc, the Chinese Yuan, and the Japanese Yen, with buying rates of 344.8735, 41.2411, and 1.7401, respectively. The selling rates for these currencies are 345.4131, 41.2942, and 1.7427. Additionally, the rates for the Saudi Riyal and the UAE Dirham are listed, with buying rates at 73.8421 and 75.4868, and selling rates at 73.9512 and 75.5937, respectively.

The State Bank of Pakistan regularly publishes these rates to provide guidance to financial institutions and businesses in managing their foreign exchange transactions effectively.
