State Bank of Pakistan Releases Latest Exchange Rates

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has announced the latest weighted average customer exchange rates for a range of major currencies. The data, which reflects the buying and selling rates as of September 18, 2026, provides a snapshot of the current exchange market dynamics.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the exchange rate for the U.S. dollar stands at 276.9767 for buying and 277.4018 for selling. The euro is priced at 318.0976 for buying and 318.5831 for selling. The British pound is buying at 370.2683 and selling at 370.8341. Other significant currencies include the Australian dollar at a buying rate of 197.4239 and a selling rate of 197.7358, and the Canadian dollar at 198.0272 for buying and 198.3324 for selling.

The report further details the exchange rates for the Swiss franc, which are 336.2304 for buying and 336.7708 for selling, and the Japanese yen, with rates of 1.7631 and 1.7658 for buying and selling, respectively. The Chinese yuan and the Saudi riyal also feature, with buying rates of 41.3624 and 73.7366, and selling rates of 41.4157 and 73.8457, respectively.

These rates are pivotal for businesses, traders, and individuals engaged in transactions involving foreign currencies, as they represent the official rates set by the central bank for the specified date.
