Karachi: The stock market indices KSE30 and KSE100 experienced a slight decline in their respective values as of August 24, 2026, amid a notable increase in trading volume. The KSE30 index fell by 26.27 points, closing at 52,644.53, while the KSE100 index dropped by 199.84 points, settling at 176,966.69.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market saw a significant increase in turnover with the current figure at 933,516,751, compared to the previous 689,166,155. The traded value also rose to 44,100,136,507 from 35,657,248,860. Despite the decline in indices, the market capitalization remained stable at 19,870,851,031,029, showing a slight reduction from the previous 19,882,969,166,870. The DFC turnover also witnessed a growth, with figures reaching 572,304,000, marking a substantial rise from the previous 222,388,500.
