According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the high for the KSE100 was 187,518.79, and the low was 185,545.93, indicating a strong performance throughout the trading day. The KSE30 saw similar gains, with a high of 57,562.39 and a low of 56,930.71.
The market's turnover and traded value also showed notable increases. The regular market recorded a turnover of 848,559,214, up from 740,092,828 previously. The traded value for the regular market reached 50,025,901,020, compared to the previous 42,204,289,930. Meanwhile, the market capitalization rose to 21,149,478,547,301 from 20,969,280,357,768.
In the derivatives and futures categories, the Daily Futures Contract (DFC) saw a turnover increase to 179,774,000 from 114,500,500, with a traded value of 12,640,826,575 up from 9,205,180,490. Other derivatives like ODL and CSF showed mixed performance, with some decreases in turnover and traded values.
The positive movement in the indices reflects a robust day of trading, with investors showing increased confidence in the market.
