KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a robust performance as both the KSE30 and KSE100 indices recorded significant gains. The KSE30 rose by 649.19 points to close at 52,166.33, while the KSE100 climbed 2,237.52 points, ending at 173,962.82.
According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market reached its highest points of the day with the KSE30 touching 52,275.95 and the KSE100 peaking at 174,106.35. The turnover for regular market shares increased to 555,063,927 from the previous 506,355,873, with a traded value of 40,877,918,715, up from 31,146,553,699. The market capitalization saw an increase, closing at 19,166,274,671,568 compared to the prior 18,989,047,805,384. The development reflects a positive investor sentiment and a significant increase in traded volumes across the board.
